One hat…
& another…

I think this is a cozy blanket that any little pirate would love.

The Good: When Anna requested a soft scarf in black & grey I jumped at the chance to use Blue Sky Alpaca’s Sport Weight. The Clapotis from Knitty was perfect for her, and for this yarn.
The Bad: At first, the pattern didn’t resonate with me. Not that it was necessarily difficult, but just seemed tedious.
The Not so Ugly: After ripping it out a couple of times, and almost a third, I decided to give it another few rows. Suddenly it just started to flow. Thankfully, I stuck with it and was really happy with the outcome.
Annnnnnd the Gorgeous: The Clapotis for The Lovely Anna.

Made for Made With Luv for a baby shower gift. They were all so fun! The fish are mine…the other’s from patterns. Will post links for the creators as soon as I find them again!

My buddy Dennis gets oh so cold waiting to admit us all at the door of our favorite local watering hole. As he diligently checks ids to protect the young and innocent, he dreams of a warm cozy scarf to ward off the San Diego chill. He wishes for a diagonal-striped increased scarf done up in sportweight wool blends in shades reminiscent of the sea. Dennis…your wish is my command.

My hands are now like craws…yes CRAWS! Just finished knitting this cute traditional Christmas stocking for a very sweet family. My Christmas wish is that they love it…and that my hands will eventually unfurl.
A friend needed a baby hat. While she’s a very talented and skillful knitter, she won’t come over to the dark side of crochet. I present to you, The Baby Yoda.

With all the pain and suffering in the world, an orange variegated hat just seems to make it all bearable. Knit in a super soft wool blend, this hat is warm but lightweight. Made for a cycling client who needed something for those chilly winter rides to and fro. Word has it that it keeps one “toasty.”
